她叫Marit Larsen。来自挪威的歌声，她弹奏吉他，她创作歌词。

　　《Shades of purple》是敲开我音乐大门的首张专辑，M2M是我第一个喜欢上的声音。七八年过去了，从Shades of purple到The Big Room，再到告别专辑The Best of M2M，M2M悄然解散，感动和记忆却留了下来。所以对我来说，M2M的意义已经不再仅仅是歌曲，她们是记忆，是昨天。

　　五年前，离开M2M的Marit Larsen选择了留在挪威继续追寻音乐。她在这期间开始尝试不同音乐，钢琴口琴，电吉他，歌词创作和歌曲制作。06年初，带着对音乐的执迷，她重新回到自己的舞台，推出首张单飞专辑《Under The Surface》。而这期间，没有过多的商业宣传，没有和Marion Raven一样走当时主流的pop-rock，Marit Larsen仍然保留着在M2M时的清澈，也在这一年，新专辑带给她MTV欧洲音乐大奖最佳挪威艺人，Spellemannprisen最佳女歌手和最佳音乐MV两项大奖。

　　两年后的夏天，三个在挪威不同生活场景拍摄的If A Song Could Get Me You单曲视频在Youtube上发布，十月份专辑The Chase也悄悄到来，Marit又回来了。仍然是走清新pop曲风，仍然是用心制作的一张精良专辑，但是声音以及不像在首张专辑那样显得单薄，曲风在固定下来后也更加成熟和完善。此张专辑可以说是Under The Surface的延续，木吉他钢琴几乎贯穿整张专辑，出现在每首歌曲中，没有过多电子修饰，各类古典乐器的加入和时不时出现的口琴使整张专辑清新自然。这是一张需要时间慢慢沉淀的专辑，也是一张适合旅行的专辑。
