HUAWEI Advertisement Business Development Manager
Responsibility:
This role is responsible for Business Development & Sales of Huawei Advertising platform with European companies in China Region, with a clear focus on relevant eco-system development & Ad revenue growth.
This role will manage the partner development Huawei Ads platform that will serve advertisement over HUAWEI Mobile Services and third party App Partners & Networks, within HUAWEI devices in China, where Huawei hold the top #1 device market share position, with over 530 Million Monthly Active Users (MAU). Huawei Ads is a First Party Data, Mobile Ads & CTV Ads platform, focus on App Growth, programmatic display ads and Search Ads.
- Develop and manage european partnerships interested in advertising / marketing in China, including Media Agencies and Direct advertisers.
- Analyze, research and evaluate the different verticals and categories of advertisers with interest in China market, such as: FMCG, Tourism/ Travel, Sports, and others.
- Manage the day to day communication with partners, being the BD/ Sales owner of end – to- end project from prospect to campaign delivery, in coordination with the different stakeholders involved (Legal, Finance, Operation, etc.)
- Coordinate with the EU Ads Leader and other BDs on a regular basis in the EU Ads weekly/ biweekly meetings, monitoring progress, issues and assisting with problem solving to the Ads BU EU manager.
- Align with Ads Operation team on the key accounts by vertical, build and share successful new partners on board and continuously be up to date with the latest Huawei Ads product updates
- Make data driven decisions, and use in a daily basis the internal platforms for partner onboarding, data reports, etc.
Background and previous experience
1. Bachelor degree or above
2. 5+ year experience in the advertisement industry, especially in mobile advertisement domain
3. English language professional level (Other European local languages will be a plus, such as French, German or Portuguese)
4. Sales or Business Development past experience, with effective Sales mindset and customer lifecycle management.
5. Office skills: be able to master office software skills, specially Excel file and Powerpoint. Advanced knowledge of Excel means possessing the ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to business tasks. Advanced knowledge of Powerpoint means the ability to explain and show complex information in a simple, easy way to understand it.
6. Deep understanding of the European local market for consumer digital services, mobile usage behavior, Social Media trends, and advertisement trends (including CTV and others).
7. Good relationship with local suppliers in advertisement value chain (Europe). Past Partnership/ Account Management experience is required, with proven examples.
8. Strong communication skills & rich experience on partner engagement and influencing.
9. Self-motivated, creative and good team work, willing to take on challenges.
10. Curiosity about new knowledge, ability of continuous learning, positive mindset and strong sense of responsibility. Knoweledge of China market or any related experience with China region will be a plus.
